Focus on Forests

Focus on Forests is Ontario's premier forest education program for teachers, youth leaders, and resource professionals. Developed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and the Canadian Forest Service, this program increases young people's appreciation and understanding of forests and forest management. By educating youth about the importance of forest ecosystems today, we can help them make environmentally sound decisions tomorrow. Now under the banner of WILD Education, Focus on Forests is delivered by the Ontario Forestry Association, which you can contact for information on scheduled workshops and to obtain primary/junior and intermediate/senior manuals. Under agreement with the OFA, the Canadian Wildlife Federation offers Focus on Forests in workshops in conjunction with Project WILD, Fish Ways, or Below Zero.
