Blue School Program Registration

To register for the Blue School program, please complete and submit the following online registration form.

Remember to register past ocean projects, as you may already qualify as a Blue School. Groups that have received funding in previous years may register new or continuing projects.

To apply for FUNDS, you MUST download and complete the Registration/Request for Funds Form (PDF Format 208 KB) and mail or fax it to WILD Education. WILD Education does not accept funding requests electronically.

Raise awareness about ocean conservation issues in your school and/or community at any time of the year by organizing an ocean-related event, such as a festival, exhibit, assembly, workshop, film showing, and so on.   Conserve Canada's aquatic heritage, protecting freshwater or marine ecosystems, for their ecological, historical, economic, cultural and social value.
Collaborate with people or organizations in your community to ensure the success of your ocean project.   Do a habitat project to benefit any aquatic wildlife species or improve shorelines or coasts.
Investigate all the ways in which you and your school are interconnected with the ocean no matter where you live.   Take conservation action on behalf of Canada's three oceans — the Arctic, Atlantic, and Pacific.
Participate in Ocean Linksa National Blue School Project, which gives students a voice in ocean conservation.   Boost biodiversity by conserving aquatic habitats with a rich variety of life or by discouraging human actions that could result in species loss
Prevent ocean pollution by cutting marine debris off at its source and turning off the tap on land-based contaminants   Other (specify):
