About Us
For
nearly 40 years, the Canadian
Wildlife Federation has worked for the conservation of
our natural heritage. As the nation's largest non-profit,
non-governmental conservation organization, we represent the
voices of countless Canadians concerned about the well-being
of wild species and spaces. We are dedicated to raising awareness
of the impacts of human activities on the environment, promoting
the sustainable use of our natural resources, conducting and
sponsoring research relating to wildlife and the environment
, and recommending legislative changes to protect wildlife
and its habitat. We take special pride in our ever-growing
family of WILD Education programs, which have been developed
in partnership with federal, provincial, and territorial wildlife
agencies.
